What you may need to know: 99U is an annual conference for creatives to connect, learn and build their careers through speakers, workshops and classes.

Context: With so much going on in this conference, I was drawn to the honeycomb design to play off the building aspects to rework this website. The site focuses on keynote speakers and types of workshops to bring in creatives. My assignment was to recreate the main page and one interior page. I created the base template in Sketch and the HTML/CSS in Adobe Dreamweaver.
What I learned from this project: Basic UX/UI, basic HTML and CSS and the process of making a live website.

Final thoughts: While this was a beginner project and I still have a lot to learn about building a site, learning the differences of working with visual elements for the web versus print has been an exciting process with endless possibilities. The only thing I would do differently is continue to work on this site and completely every page.
